SBAC Examine The UK’s Future For The Next 20 Years
The Society of British Aerospace Companies has been examining in detail just how the UK can stay at the cutting edge of the worlds highly competitive aerospace industry during the next 2 decades.
The research and subsequent report highlights the possible threats to the lucrative £20 billion annual aerospace economy, in particular the emergence of the high growth markets of the Middle and Far East, included in this aspect is the rising Indian enterprise.
Key to the UK remaining at the forefront of the aerospace industry is the commitment and investment from both the aerospace industry itself and the Government who need to support Britain’s involvement with a significant investment. The report also highlights the need to address a central and national control for critical intellectual property to help maintain manufacturing investments and the employment of staff within the UK.
