熱処理と機械的性質試験は製造プロセスの必須工程です。

コイリングにより生じた応力を緩和するため、すべてのばねがなんらかの熱処理を必要とします。 コイリング後4時間以内に熱処理が必要な材料もあれば、析出硬化や多段式の熱処理を必要とする材料もあります。 こうした処理はばねの性能を大きく左右します。社内で行う熱処理のほぼすべては機械的性質（引張）試験により検証され、材料が熱処理後に求められる性質を獲得したことが確かめられます。

コンベヤーオーブンによる熱処理では均一な効果が保証されないため、おすすめしません。 正確な処理を保証するため、弊社製造の全ばねにバッチで熱処理を施します。

弊社はこれに伴い熱処理と機械的性質試験においてNADCAP認証を得ており、オーブンはAMS2750 Instrument Type Aに準拠し、機械的性質試験はASTM E8とASTM A370に加え、必要に応じて顧客要件または国際規格に従って行われます。
